I've also been "revamping" a few pieces to update the quality to what I, at my current level, feel to be acceptable. One positive, is that my "current level" and expectations are constantly being revised, That means...hopefully I'm improving:-)

Free Accurasee Workshop!

Just thought I'd let you know that I'm going to be teaching a free, all day drawing and painting workshop on Friday April 2nd at the studio of Linda Christensen (1235 Little Hobble Creek Rd, Wallsburg, UT). It will go from 9-4 with a break for lunch from 12-1. Might go even another session if people are game...4-7.

I'll be sharing information on how to use the Accurasee Measurement System for a variety of subject matter. We'll be drawing or painting in whatever mediums desired and be working from live models, and still-lifes.
It'll be a great setup and best of all free:-)

I'll supply everyone that does not already have an Accurasee kit
with trial materials to experiment with. Of course I'll have kits for
sale as well.

There will be a couple other instructors (not to mention a lot of great artists), so that everyone can get all the help they need. We'll be doing
the workshop in the studio where Linda does her large religious murals. It's very roomy and should be able to accommodate quite a few people. We'll arrange for as many still-lifes and models as necessary.

Workshops

I'm in the process of putting together some workshops this winter. Next week I'll be traveling down to SLC, Utah and doing demos at Colleges and art guilds. It'll be a long week. If your down there, let me know and I'll tell you where I'll be. I'll be doing 2-3 demos everyday!

Fall Arts Festival

Crowds gathered at the "Fall Arts Festival" in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Wilcox Gallery had eight working artists, always exciting for patrons as they visit. I like meeting people as they come through the gallery.

Here I am painting the grand-daughter of Jim Wilcox as people look on. It was a very successful weekend. I sold a painting, entitled "Cierra".

Afterwards, they host a dinner with the artists, one of my favorite things after painting all day.
